• Active Ingredient: Cartap hydrochloride 50% SP, a nereistoxin analog with systemic, contact, and stomach actions, effective against chewing and sucking pests.

• Mechanism of Action: Acts on nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in insects, disrupting nerve transmission. Causes muscle spasms, paralysis, and eventual death. Systemic uptake by plants ensures protection of stems and foliage.

• Product Features: Broad-spectrum activity against lepidopteran pests (stem borers, leaf rollers), beetles, and sucking pests (aphids, thrips). SP dissolves quickly in water for foliar spraying. Both offer moderate residual efficacy (up to 7-10 days) and are compatible with integrated pest management (IPM).

• Target Pests: Controls rice stem borers, rice leaf rollers, cabbage caterpillars, potato beetles, aphids, and thrips.
