Speed of action:
The first signs of drug exposure appear 2-4 days after spraying. Within 5-7 days after treatment, weed growth stops, browning is noted at the weed growth points, and leaf chlorosis is observed.
Mechanism of action:
Kletodim penetrates through the leaves and stems of the plant, moves to the growth points and blocks the synthesis of lipids and acetyl carboxylase, due to which plant growth stops, the growth points die off.
Properties and advantages:
An indispensable herbicide in the control of annual and perennial grass weeds;
It has a high selectivity to protected crops.;
The herbicide can be applied in all phases of culture development.;
Thanks to the systemic action, it ensures the death of not only the aboveground part, but also the root system of weeds, preventing regrowth.;
The drug effectively controls almost all types of annual and perennial grass weeds, including hard-core (wheatgrass, pigweed, gum);
The herbicide is used in relatively small consumption rates and regardless of the phase of culture development;
It has a high rate of action, significantly superior to other gramicides.;
The herbicide has a pronounced systemic effect, quickly penetrates into all parts of weeds, including roots and rhizomes.;
When using the herbicide in tank mixtures with preparations against dicotyledonous weeds, the synergistic effect of the herbicide is fully manifested, which makes it possible to reduce the recommended dosages of all components of the mixture.
The spectrum of action:
Sensitive ones:
All types of annual cereal weeds, including self-seeding cereals and corn, as well as perennial cereals, including gum, wheatgrass, and porcupine.
