Product Description

Imidacloprid belongs to the nitroalkylated methylenic class of systemic insecticides. It acts on the nicotinic acetylcholine receptor and is used for the control of piercing-sucking pests such as aphids, leafhoppers, planthoppers, thrips, psyllids, and their resistant strains. It is also effective against Coleoptera, Diptera, and Lepidoptera. It is inactive against nematodes and red spider mites. Due to its excellent systemic properties, it is particularly suitable for seed treatment and granular application. It can provide early and continuous pest control in cereal crops, corn, rice, potatoes, sugar beets, and cotton. Pest control in the later growth stages of crops such as citrus, deciduous fruit trees, and vegetables can be achieved through foliar spraying. Foliar spraying has excellent efficacy against black-streaked leafhoppers, planthoppers (rice brown planthopper, gray planthopper, white-backed planthopper), aphids (peach aphid, cotton aphid), and thrips. It also has efficacy against psyllids, rice borers, rice negative weevils, and rice weevils. When applied as a soil treatment, at a concentration of 1.25 mg/kg (ppm), it can provide long-lasting control of peach aphids on cabbage and bean aphids on broad beans. Granules applied at 1 g AI/kg to the seedbed have excellent efficacy against rice leafhoppers and planthoppers. Granules applied at 1 g AI/kg to the seeds can provide control of bean aphids and cotton aphids for at least 5 weeks.
Lambda-cyhalothrin is mainly used for controlling lepidopteran, hemipteran, hemipteran, thysanopteran, hymenopteran, dipteran, and tarsipteran pests in cotton, fruit trees, vegetables, tea plants, and dry grains, and is also used for controlling cockroach pests.
