Metolachlor 720 g/L EC is a soluble liquid herbicide containing metolachlor as the active ingredient. Here is its product introduction:
 • Active Ingredient: Metolachlor (720g/L), a selective chloroacetamide herbicide with pre-emergence soil activity.

 • Mechanism of Action: Inhibits cell division and elongation in germinating weed roots and shoots, preventing their emergence and growth.

 • Product Features: Effective against annual grasses and some broadleaf weeds in corn, soybeans, cotton, and sugarcane. SL formulation dissolves easily in water, adheres well to soil particles, and provides residual control (4-6 weeks). Suitable for integrated weed management (IWM).

 • Target Weeds: Controls barnyard grass, crabgrass, green foxtail, and annual broadleaf weeds (e.g., lambsquarters) in crop fields.

 • Applicable Crops: Corn, soybeans, cotton, sugarcane, and peanuts.

 • Application Methods: Pre-emergence soil spraying. Dilute with water as directed; apply uniformly to soil surface before weed germination. Works best in moist soil for optimal activation.
