Product Description

Contact post-emergence herbicide for the protection of cereals with the sowing of legumes and annual grass mixtures, with a wide spectrum of action on dicotyledonous weeds

Active ingredients: Bentazone, 480 g/l.

Preparation form: Soluble concentrate.
Chemical class: Benzothiadiazones.

Mechanism of action: A contact selective herbicide that moves weakly through the plant. It penetrates into plants mainly through the leaves. The mechanism of action of the active substance bentazone is based on the irreversible blocking of electron transport involved in photosynthesis.

The advantages:
*Contact post-emergence herbicide for the protection of cereals with the sowing of leguminous grasses and annual grass mixtures, which has a wide range of effects on dicotyledonous weeds.
*A wide range of actions.
*Destroys common species of annual dicotyledonous weeds, including those resistant to 2,4-D and MCPA.
*It has a long service life.It has a beneficial effect on sensitive weeds present in crops during the spraying period, and does not affect those that appear  after treatment.
*The duration of action of the drug is determined by the weather conditions of the region of application and the species composition of the weeds.

The rate of exposure: The first symptoms of the drug appear after 3-4 days, and after 5-10 days there is widespread death of weeds.

The period of protective action: It provides protection for crops from the moment of processing until the appearance of a new "wave" of weeds.

Phytotoxicity: It does not have a phytotoxic effect in the recommended standards of use. Sometimes, immediately after spraying, especially at high temperatures and in the early stages of growth (cotyledons, the first leaf), burns and leaf lightening appear on plants, which gradually pass and do not appear on the leaves that appear later. This usually does not affect the subsequent growth of plants and the size of the crop.

Compatibility: Compatible in tank mixtures with preparations having neutral and alkaline reactions. It is not compatible with drugs that have an acidic reaction. In each specific case, a preliminary compatibility check of the components is necessary.

Hazard class for humans: 3 (low-risk drug).
Bee hazard class: 3 (low-risk drug).

The spectrum of action:
*Sensitive: Tilted pince, quinoa (species), blue cornflower, Theophrastus ropeberry, field thorax, field yarutka, field mustard, syt (species), chastukha (species), umbilicus (species), medium asterisks, shepherd's sac, chamomile (species), umbilicus, datura, hibiscus trifoliate, tenacious bedstraw, field forget-me-not, monochoria, highlander (species), arrow leaf, durnishnik (species).
*Moderately sensitive: Commelina (species), tubers, ambrosia (species), white marjoram, drugstore dymyanka, common krestovnik, small-flowered galinsoga, field convolvulus.
*Insensitive: Field boar, common pickle, purple jasnotka, samoseika poppy, veronica (species), mountain bird.

Conditions for faster absorption of the drug by plants:
*High humidity in the air.
*Elevated temperature (+20...+25°C).
*Good illumination.

The period of safe exit of people to the cultivated areas: For carrying out mechanized work - 3 days.

The use of the drug is prohibited:
*In private subsidiary farms;
*By the aviation method;
*In the sanitary zone of fishing ponds.

Recommendations for use:
*It is recommended to treat the most sensitive plants (peas) in cloudy weather at temperatures below +20 ° C (late in the evening or early in the morning).
*The different resistance of pea varieties to bentazone-based preparations should be taken into account.
*The treatment is carried out in weather favorable for plant growth from +10 ° C to + 25 ° C.
*Steady cool weather slows down the visible effect of the drug.
*It is not recommended to use the drug if night frosts are expected.
*Rain immediately after treatment reduces the effectiveness of the drug.

Storage conditions: In warehouses specially designed for the storage of pesticides, in hermetically sealed original packaging with a storage temperature range from minus 5 °C to plus 40 ° C.

Warranty period of storage: 3 years from the date of manufacture in the original packaging, subject to storage conditions.
Packing: 5L, 10L, 20L/drum
